Our hafla this Spring has a theme, and that is Swap Shop – our students (and the teachers!) will perform something outside our specialties, challenging our bodies and minds into doing something new. There will also be live music in the interval, performed by my husband Thom Franey.

WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

with Ireland dance stars includind bellydance, Yasmina, Farasha, Sheehoneh, Flamenco, Salsa, Hip Hop, Tribal Fusion with Zoryanna, Les Serpents Mystiques, Burlesque, and more host by Mandy.

Show starts at 8pm at the Sugar Club, Leeson street, dublin 2.

Tickets are 20euros at the door including a free salsa classe.

The theme clothing for the evening is Marilyn Monroe in pink dress, diamonds. It is an evening of dance and fun.

BELLY DANCE WORKSHOPS IN GALWAY

Galway Bellydance Is hosting Tara Ibrahim, Processional Egyptian Dance
Performer to teach 2 exciting Workshops in Galway on 15th May 10

Khaleegy (Open level)
Learn this beautiful and sensual dance from the Gulf. Khaleegy is mesmerizing, energetic and symbolic. Tara will teach the headwork, footwork and arm movements unique to this dance with both technique and choreography.

A class encouraging a deeper understanding of Arabic Culture.
Time: 11-1 Cost: €40

Oriental (Open level)
A beautiful and modern belly dance choreography to inspire you. Tara will break down the dance to give you ideas and confidence for your own artistic ceations.
Time: 1.45-3.45 Cost: €40
